We know that your pet is a member of the family, and their safety is our top priority. Collars and tags can break or fall off, but a microchip provides a permanent, lifelong link between you and your pet. This simple, painless procedure—about the size of a grain of rice—is performed quickly during a routine visit and offers the best chance of a joyful reunion if your pet ever wanders from home. We use high-quality, ISO-compliant microchips that can be scanned by shelters and clinics nationwide. Let Dr. Roberts and our team give you the ``Dr. Mom`` peace of mind by ensuring your furry friend always has a digital way back home to Spokane Valley.

Proper nutrition is the fuel that powers your pet’s health, but with so many options on the market, choosing the right diet can be overwhelming. At Dr. Mom’s Animal Clinic, we provide personalized nutritional counseling to help you navigate your pet’s unique dietary needs. Whether you are managing a chronic condition like allergies or diabetes, or simply looking for the best puppy or senior formula, Dr. Roberts offers evidence-based recommendations tailored to your pet’s age, weight, and activity level. We focus on weight management and high-quality ingredients to prevent future health issues, ensuring your pet enjoys a vibrant, high-energy life right here in Spokane Valley.

When your pet requires surgery, you want a team that treats them with the same caution and care as their own family. At Dr. Mom’s Animal Clinic, we provide a wide range of professional surgical services, from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft-tissue procedures. Our priority is safety and comfort; every surgical patient undergoes a thorough pre-anesthetic screening to ensure they are healthy enough for the procedure. Throughout the surgery, we utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs, and our dedicated staff remains by your pet’s side from the moment they arrive until they are safely awake. We believe in proactive pain management and clear post-operative instructions, ensuring a smooth and stress-free recovery for both you and your furry companion.

Because our pets can’t tell us where it hurts, blood work is one of our most powerful tools for understanding their true health. At Dr. Mom’s Animal Clinic, we utilize advanced in-house diagnostic equipment—including hematology and blood chemistry units—to get fast, accurate results when time is of the essence. Whether we are performing a ``pre-op`` screen to ensure surgical safety, checking organ function in a senior pet, or diagnosing a sudden illness, these tests allow Dr. Roberts to see what the naked eye cannot. We believe in a targeted approach to diagnostics; we only recommend the tests that will truly impact your pet’s treatment plan, ensuring you get the vital answers you need without unnecessary expenses.

Choosing to spay or neuter your pet is one of the most responsible decisions you can make for their long-term health and the well-being of the Spokane Valley pet community. At Dr. Mom’s Animal Clinic, we perform these routine reproductive surgeries with the highest standards of safety and compassion. Beyond preventing unplanned litters, these procedures can significantly reduce the risk of certain cancers and serious infections, while often helping to curb undesirable behaviors. Dr. Roberts and our surgical team prioritize a stress-free experience, utilizing tailored anesthesia protocols and proactive pain management to ensure your pet is comfortable from check-in to discharge. We’re here to walk you through the process, answer your questions about timing, and provide the attentive ``Dr. Mom`` care your pet deserves during their recovery.
